Well I use a Fashion Croquis of the doll to draw the idea out. Here is one for Picco Neemo D.
When printing it out the one on the right should be just over six and 1/4 inches tall from the top of the head to the heel. This will give you a croquis that is the exact height of a Picco Neemo D with a Parabox Petite Fairy Head. It will be easier to design clothes for the doll and know exactly how the placement of decorations will look in proportion to the doll.
When planning things like embroidery and lace it will be easier to get the proportions correct on a croquis that is the correct size of the doll. It's hard enough to get things like that right at the best of time. Any little bit helps, right?
This will also be a good way to buy fabric and things in the right scale to her. There are all these amazing fabrics out there but if they are too large scale it just looks wrong on the doll. Feel free to carry this with you when buying fabric and things. Easier than carrying a doll.
If you don't have this doll check out the others on my Doll Fashion Croquis Free page.
