Who I am

I am a Crafter of all sorts. I work with dolls, fabric, needle and thread, pens and pencils, and sometimes paint to create what I see in my head.

I grew up the middle child of three with wonderfully support from my parents. They allowed me to develop my love of drawing without complaint. I know without their trust and understanding I would not be exploring all the creative ideas I run across. For that I think them.
I have never been classically trained in painting or drawing other than the basic art classes I had in high school. I had an amazing teacher there who helped me to define the skills I had been learning all my life.
My mother taught me to sew when I was ten. I came to love it so much that in many ways it has been my biggest expression. I learned many skills from her.
Now I work in higher education as a secretary and spend my free time creating. This website is my way of keeping track of those endeavors to create the worlds in my head in a variety of media.
